Primary Job Responsibilities

▪ Oversee church’s daily financial and administrative affairs – e.g., accounting, annual budget, accounts payable/receivable, financial statements, gift contributions, purchasing, annual audit, etc.

▪ Oversee payroll, payroll taxes and reporting, in addition to executing the administration of benefits.

▪ Create W2s, 1099s, and file them with the IRS.

▪ Work with leadership teams and staff to build yearly Ministry Action Plan (Budget) and ensure proper execution of plan once approved by church body.

• Oversee financial reports for Stewardship, Missions, Building and Personnel Team.

▪ Update and maintain current Financial Operations Manual and Employment Handbook.

▪ Correspond in a professional manner with church members who have questions about giving.

▪ Perform special projects, as assigned by Senior Pastor.

Qualifications and Required Skills

• 2 years of financial management or accounting or equivalent experience

• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

• 2 years of experience with accounting systems of any kind (i.e. QuickBooks or ACS)

• Highly detail-oriented with superior skills in negotiations and resolving conflict

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week
