Looking for a Part Time Facility Maintenance Person
$18.00 - $18.50 an hour.
Must have some training and experience with basic maintenance skills:
Plumbing, Electrical, Handyman Skills, HVAC, Landscaping & Painting to name a few.
This would not be a consistent schedule but a great 2nd PT job for someone looking for extra employment. We need someone to cover when the Full-Time guys is absent and for jobs that require a 2nd person occasionally.
You would receive about 16 hours weekly on average, but more might be available.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing machinery, equipment, or systems
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities with other team members
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Fabricate or weld parts as needed
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with contractors or vendors when necessary
Skills:
- Strong technical skills in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Ability to weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong leadership skills to supervise maintenance staff
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
