• Utilizes saws to cut and prep material for fabricators
• Grinds finished fabrications for further manufacturing processes
• Cuts scrap metal to specific dimensions, using various saws
• Operates hand and power tools
• Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits
• Moves materials by hand as needed
• Signals crane operators to move large work pieces
• Operates forklifts and pallet jacks to move material throughout plant floor
• Any additional duties assigned by management
• Part-time position; up to 30 hours per week, generally 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM schedule, but willing to be flexible

Job Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: Entry Level

Skills

• Able to read a tape measure 
• Able to run a grinder
• Able to grind welds
• Hi-Lo experience
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Experience in operating a horizontal band saw or cold saw
• Knowledge of basic saw maintenance
• Overhead crane experience – not required, but would be a plus
• Hard working and flexible in work duties, willing to take on new tasks
• Maintain clean and professional work environment
• Able to communicate and work well with others
