Searching for an experienced heavy equipment shop foreman for a HIGH-VOLUME equipment repair shop. Independently oversees and helps perform intricate on-site diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on a variety of heavy equipment within the shop with multiple technicians.

May require occasional direction or guidance from the Service Manager.

Responsibilities :

• Conducts complex on-site diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
• Manages and leads the Heavy Equipment Shop, coordinating tasks and providing guidance to the service team.
• Participates in mandatory Service EDUCATE Training programs to stay updated on the latest industry advancements.
• Supports customer clinics, offering expertise and insights into heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Engages with customers to discuss and explain maintenance, repair, or other service concerns, documenting details on work orders.
• Establishes and implements effective stocking processes with the Parts Department to maintain the appropriate seasonal parts inventory within the shop.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of heavy equipment, including models from various manufacturers.
• Ensures the proper condition of the mobile service vehicle, trailer, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Adheres to all safety rules and regulations, prioritizing a safe working environment for the team.
• Completes all required reports and forms associated with work assignments.
• Accounts for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties.
• Upholds a safe working environment and strictly adheres to the company's safety program at all times.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

• Possesses a minimum of 3 years of experience in performing on-site service repairs on heavy equipment.
• Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Capable of performing complex repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment, following Technical Manual procedures.
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy equipment.
• Proficient in using Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Can lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
