PRIMARY FUNCTION:

· Assistant Superintendent overseeing and scheduling subcontractor work in all areas as directed by Superintendent.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare schedules and communicate daily with subcontractors

· Prepare punch lists as units are being finished and ensure that each item on list is completed satisfactorily prior to inspection

Communicate with the Property Manager for scheduled turnover dates for the new apartments.

· Schedule inspections as assigned by the Superintendent

· Inspect Contractor’s work for compliance with Quality control

· Assist Superintendent in maintaining and enforcing the company’s safety policies

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

· Lock up and close-down the job site daily

· Sign in and count new material deliveries

· Assist in the resolution of scheduling/delivery conflicts or subcontractor issues

· All other duties that are assigned by the Superintendent

KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE:

· High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field is preferred

· Minimum of 3 Years of Construction Experience, preferably with large volume builder

· Multi-family construction experience preferred

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

· Familiar with Multi-family construction procedures

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Knowledge of Construction scheduling

· PC proficient
