Product Architects are leaders in their field and are an integral part of T-Mobile's Secure Federal Operations (SFO) Product Development team. They directly support Product Managers in a cross-functional product team environment and are engaged as consultants throughout the product development lifecycle. Product Architects apply their technical expertise to design and engineer business-class, wireless and wireline business products for SFO. They are highly engaged in working with Senior Management and Strategic Partners to develop technical designs, business & technical requirements, presentations, and training content. As needed, they will assist in developing prototypes, certification/lab testing, and proof-of-concepts.

Responsibilities:

Product Development

  • Develops product technical requirements & designs
  • Supports prototyping and lab/proof-of-concept testing
  • Assists with partner and technology evaluations
  • Maintains expert-level awareness in the following technology areas: Data/Voice, Wireless, Hardware / Managed Services, Security (future)
  • Facilitates certification testing as part of new product development (wireless/wireline)
  • Assists with technical training / G2M
  • Acts as team lead for project or tiger teams

Solutions Engineering Field Support

  • Coordinates and leads all national SE training
  • Provide Tier 2/SME-level field support for SE's/field
  • Collects and disseminates technical feedback as appropriate
  • Engaged as needed to answer complex, technical product questions and act as technology consultants
  • Engaged as needed to drive technical solutions for critical customer opportunities
  • Assist with post-sales support/escalations specific to the products they support. Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study; Advance degree preferred

  • 5 years product design experience

  • 3 years project management experience

  • 5 years product technology experience

  • Translate business requirements into system/technical requirements.

  • Design and architect products/services/systems from business requirements.

  • Complex problem solving

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • US Citizenship (without dual citizenship) required

  • Active Security Clearance required
