JOB SUMMARY
We are searching for a highly qualified marketing coordinator to become part the TJRH marketing
team. This individual will contribute to existing marketing projects, while assisting with the
development of new initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have prior
experience with a wide range of marketing functions including communications, advertising,
branding, digital marketing, website content creation, video production assistance, event planning,
and social media. The marketing coordinator must be an organized, detail-oriented multitasker able
to handle many diverse projects at once while meeting deadlines.

The Marketing Coordinator will develop strategies and implement marketing plans to increase
awareness, drive volume, and stay informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive
landscape. Day to day, he or she may draft reports, create or coordinate content, track results, build
relationships with other teams within the T.J. Regional Health system, and otherwise support all
marketing strategies. He or she may act as an intermediary between the creative team and clients.
The Marketing Coordinator will attend events to promote the organization and work with the team to
develop materials to be used for internal and external communication. This position reports to the
EVP of Marketing, Planning, and Development.

The successful candidate will have the ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, schedule,
coordinate, and make decisions relating to assigned tasks and responsibilities; will have knowledge
of the Internet as it applies to research and information related to job functions; will have extensive
knowledge of essential software including, but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint; and will have a good understanding of social media platforms for business
use with the ability to stay abreast of new and changing social media.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education
 Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or other related field.

Minimum Work Experience
 Minimum 2 years of work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role
Required Skills
 Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
 Communication (written and oral)
 Critical thinking and good professional judgment
 Prior use of a content management system (CMS) such as Active Campaign or similar platform
 Experience with writing for the web
 Experience with market research and target marketing
 Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
 Video production / editing experience a plus
 Graphic design skills a plus

Required Skills:
 Candidate will possess excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
 Must exhibit good professional judgment in dealing with internal and external contacts and in
handling various types of work situations.
 Must be self-motivated and directed and perform work according to departmental standards.
 Must exercise diplomacy, discretion, sound judgment, and flexibility in varying situations, and
must maintain confidentiality.
 Ability to work in a fast paced environment-handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
 Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions
relating to assigned tasks and responsibilities.
 Knowledge of the Internet as it applies to research and information related to job functions.
 Extensive knowledge of essential software including, but not limited to Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint.
 Extensive knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, & LinkedIn with
the ability to stay abreast of new and changing social media.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Marketing Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for a variety of internal clients to
create and/or update marketing materials that showcase the TJRH network of hospitals and clinics,
service lines, and healthcare providers.
 Support the EVP of Marketing, Planning and Development in evaluating and establishing strategic
marketing plans and strategies
 Conduct marketing research to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and the competitive
landscape
 Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
 Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to clients
 Implement marketing plans that include print, broadcast and online content
 Work to create and maintain website content including text, photos, videos
 Coordinate, design, and distribute multiple e-newsletters to target markets
 Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities
 Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
 Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for
clients and management
 Assist with community events including but not limited to conferences, health fairs and wellness
clinics and events to support the T.J. Community Mission Foundation.
