T.H.E. Health & Wellness Centers is Hiring a Medical Scheduler Near Los Angeles, CA
POSITION SUMMARY:
To assist in the scheduling of physicians to meet the provider needs of outpatient clinics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifying gaps in physician schedules and develop monthly and ad hoc schedules to meet clinic needs.
- Contact staff physicians to identify availability for open schedules and schedule as needed.
- Develop positive working relationships with physicians to obtain consent and support for staffing needs.
- Provide subject matter expertise in the use of scheduling software in order to assist physicians in using the scheduling software.
- Maintain scheduling software database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements:
- High School degree
- 2 years of clerical experience.
- Heavy telephone use.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Ability to understand and operate computers and software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
