Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Associate at our corporate office in Riverview, Florida. This position plays a vital role in creating and maintaining our financial statements and records in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
· Code, record, and reconcile all transactions initiated from our company credit card programs.
· Maintain documentation and support associated with credit card purchases.
· Code, record, and reconcile designated transactions from the company cash accounts.
· Calculate and record weekly payroll transactions.
· Record sales tax activity into the general ledger and file monthly sales tax returns.
· Add insurance deductions and child support orders into our payroll software.
· Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in accounting.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role.
· 5 years experience with QuickBooks.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
