CACI is seeking a Database Administrator (Journeyman) to support the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.You will be part of an integrated team to maintain effectiveness in defeating worldwide electronic warfare and signals threats while using your problem-solving skills and able to work with a team while in support of on-going projects managed from the Communications Electronic Command Software Engineering Center’s Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Program Office.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The Database Administrator will administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
Coordinate changes to computer databases. Will identify, investigate, and resolve database performance issues, database capacity, and database scalability.
Will plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
May be responsible for development of hardware lists, software lists, network diagrams, network data flow diagrams, SOPs and other documentation as required.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
An active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience, OR 8 years of total relevant experience (in lieu of degree).
Must be Information Assurance (IA) Trained and Certified per the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement; IAW most current DoDM 8140.03.
Must have experience in SQL Server and PostgreSQL administration.
Oracle Database knowledge preferred.
