Systems Control is Hiring a Quality Inspector - Part-Time Near Mountain, MI
Overview
The Quality Inspector position works with a team of Quality professionals to ensure quality and compliance of our manufactured products.
Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform inspection of products and materials using measuring tools and gauges
- Document inspection results, and communicate any issues identified promptly for review & correction
- Create NCNs and monitor the disposition of Nonconforming products
- Create and circulate Quality Alerts within your assigned area(s) of coverage
- Participate in and support corrective actions, preventative actions, and the problem-solving process
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in a Science or Engineering field is preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
SKILLS
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and electrical diagrams
- Competent in the use of monitoring and measurement tools, such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and torque devices
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
