• Help create a project management structure for Supply chain related projects
• Supply chain areas in scope: Purchasing, Production planning, Warehouse
• Would be responsible for ~ 50 – 100 different projects across the supply chain area ranging in complexity
• Project scope/complexity range from 2-9 months in duration;
• Maintain project templates, Coordinate/run project meetings, track actions and follow up with action owners, create and maintain timelines, maintain dashboards to show overall health/performance
• Interface with other areas outside supply chain but within the company: Supplier quality, engineering, facilities, regulatory, operations, etc
• Assist in executing by performing some tasks

Description:

• Manages/directs the activities and people associated with small to large scale projects with a focus on any or several non-IT business applications and disciplines.
• Manage/direct all facets of single or multiple, multidimensional, mission-critical projects through the Full Project Life Cycle.
• Collaborate/work with project sponsors, business units and users to identify project scope and focus, develop or monitor project initiatives, implement project requirements/plans/processes/tools, assign/guide/monitor project staff, and assure project success.
• Deliver quality project solutions to business problems or issues within defined budgets and/or timelines.
• Provide expert project guidance/support proactively through project completion.
• Provide tracking, reporting, and presentation to management and users.
• 1-6 years experience

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Preferred)
• Supply chain background: 3 years (Preferred)
• Project management: 3 years (Preferred)
• Working on supply chain projects: 3 years (Preferred)
• pharma or biotech or medical device industry: 3 years (Preferred)
