About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Innovation Product Manager & Functional Product Owner Lead to drive the strategy and execution of product ownership within the organization's product innovation and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of product owners, setting the strategy for the product development lifecycle, and ensuring that all products meet quality standards, and are delivered on time, and within budget. This role requires a deep understanding of user needs, the ability to create intuitive and user-friendly product designs, and a strong background in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. The Executive Director will also be tasked with building processes for market research, gathering insights from users, and defining product key performance indicators.Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or Master's degree in a related field preferred, and at least 10 years of successful product management experience. Experience in the educational technology industry is a plus. The role demands a candidate with strong business acumen, excellent communication and collaboration skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to make effective decisions and prioritize based on business value and market needs. The Executive Director will also be responsible for managing and developing a team of product owners, so leadership and team management experience are essential.
