A well‐established construction company in Honolulu is seeking a responsible and energetic team member with previous administrative or accounting experience. Willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities include:

• Accounts Payable - Full cycle accounts payable / Verifying the accuracy and validity of all vendor invoices / Preparing and inputting vendor invoices accurately / Reconciling discrepancies to assure correct payments are processed to suppliers / Disbursing checks / Maintaining records / Responding to vendor and internal inquiries and resolving issues / Obtaining and maintaining vendor W-9 forms, 1099, etc.
• Payroll - Weekly payroll processing / Maintaining and submitting reports / Assisting in HR functions.
• Other Accounting Functions - Reconciliation of bank and varies general ledger accounts / Bank deposits / Assisting in financial statement preparation.
• Other Administrative Support Activities.

Basic Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and 10‐key by touch.
• Excellent Interpersonal skills and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records.
• At least 2 years of Accounting, Administrative, or Clerical experience.
• A valid driver license.
• Associated Degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• Previous exposure to construction industry is a plus not required.
• Knowledge of Sage 100 is a plus but not required.

Full‐time, Monday to Friday, Pay commensurate with experience, $38,000 to $50,000.
