RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports the Company's Core Values: Passionate about what we do, Sense of Urgency, Customer Centric, Problem Solving, and motivated to Learn and Grow.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
• Ensures all product quality specifications are met by inspecting samples from each lot for defects
• Communicates with employees to ensure that job functions are carried out with respect to quality
• Trains and observes employees while using measuring equipment, ensuring such equipment is in good condition and is being used properly
• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement verifications; rejecting unacceptable materials
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement verifications; communicating rejection issues per SSI procedures
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement verifications
• Documents inspection results by completing inspection reports and rejection documents as required. When products pass inspection, inspectors sign off on the work order/inspection documents
• Inspects assemblies for completeness and accuracy; perform final checks on completed products

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to use hand-held tools and electronic devices to perform job duties, including micrometers, calipers, PI tapes, and electronic inspection equipment such as CMM and ROI comparator
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Skilled at verbal and written communication
• Basic ability with Microsoft Office (word processor and excel) and computer applications
• Experience in an ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing environment is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sit [50%}, Stand [50%], Lift [up to 25lbs], Walk, Bend, Stoop, Reach, Push, & Pull, as well as Finger/Hand dexterity.
