System One is Hiring a Technical Information Service Representative Near Rocky Hill, CT
Job Title: Technical Information Service Representative Location: Rocky Hill CT.Hours/Schedule: M-F, 8 am – 5 PMCompensation: $25-29/ hourly (per hour)Type: Contract 8 months. **This is a VMS client, resumes are entered into Acceleration, no letterhead, no candidate contact information, see Joan if you need assistance entering candidate into Acceleration. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or College Degree in Trades Technical or mechanical aptitude/Hands-on experience preferred Strong oral and written communication skills are essential Strong customer related communications and interpersonal skills necessary Proficient at navigating Microsoft Office and web-based programs Good home internet connection French language an asset
Responsibilities: This role will be responsible for providing our customers, distribution partners, and sales reps with technical support on our adhesives products and solutions through our technical helpline. The candidate will be responsible for providing timely support for technical inquiries via phone, email, and web chat. Candidate will need to visualize mechanical situations and work with customers to determine the best products to use, while identifying potential leads. This position provides an entry into the world of adhesives - staff in this role are highly regarded as experts in the adhesive world. Candidate will be expected to be available for on-site technical training as needed. Will work remotely but in person (onsite) for trainings.
Comments/Special Instructions The role will be hybrid with AT LEAST one day in the Rocky Hill office per week (usually Tuesdays but this can vary per week). Some weeks more days in the office may be required, or a specific day may be required
