TS/SCI REQUIRED


Responsibilities:
1. Serves as a support to the Government Personnel Security Officer for the CDAO.
2. Performs all duties required to obtain and maintain all accreditations of CDAO facility spaces.
3. Interprets government security regulations.
4. Establishes control procedures for all levels of sensitive information to ensure compliance with government regulations.
5. Performs all duties required for completion and submission of reports to government agencies.
6. Performs functions required to obtain security clearances for the CDAO staff.
7. Performs all functions related to the briefing and debriefing of CDAO staff.
8. Ensures that CDAO staff, consultants and subcontractors are aware of conditions and requirements for maintaining security clearances.
9. Conducts security briefings and presentations required by the CDAO.
10. Liaisons with government agencies regarding security clearances and classified visits.
11. Designates the proper controls for handling classified documents and/or hardware belonging to government agencies.
12. Manage all actions required for CAC issuance
13. Advises and assists CDAO staff with Information Systems Security requirements.
14. Reviews classification specifications as needed for contracts and subcontracts. 
15. Coordinates the actions of the CDAO security staff
Requirements: 
16. CURRENT/ACTIVE TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance
17. 10 years related experience working as a Facility Security Officer in a USG setting.
18. Bachelor’s Degree required in a relevant field.
19. Highly motivated, professional, and capable of managing demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities.
20. Strong organizational management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
21. Proficient MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook application skills.
22. Ability to organize and manage large amounts of data, files, tasks, schedules, and information.
23. Oral and written communications skills consistent with the ability to conduct interviews, security briefings, and prepare communications settings forth analyses and recommendations in a concise, logical and objective manner.
24. Highly effective in a team environment
25. Know how to navigate the Pentagon to get work done.
26. Comfortable in a fast paced/dynamic environment
27. Ability to analyze various types of materials, to develop information regarding security vulnerabilities as it would apply to approval or denial of facility or information system access.
28. The knowledge of commonly applied security principles, concepts, and methodologies.
29. The knowledge of administrative regulations and sanctions that apply to violations or non-compliance with security regulations.
30. Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management.

Security Pre-Requisite: To be considered, you must have a CURRENT/ACTIVE TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance
