Responsibilities:
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close process
- Prepare journal entries and ensure information is processed timely and accurately
- Prepare bank and balance sheet account reconciliations and make any required adjustments
- Review financial statements for significant variances and determine and communicate appropriate explanations
- Provide reporting as required by external auditors, banking institutions, or other agencies
- Assist various department with special reports working with individuals across the organization
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Advanced in Excel and experience with accounting systems
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills ensuring deadlines are met
- Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently with a high attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Maintain a service attitude and professional demeanor at all times as an effective team player
