WHO WE ARE Our client is a growing environmental consulting and field services firm headquartered in Bozeman, Montana, with regional operations in Rawlins, and Sheridan,
Wyoming; Stanley, North Dakota; and remote operations throughout the Rocky Mountains and
Northern Great Plains. Our team is a crucial companion for industries with reclamation, restoration, or remediation needs (energy and mining industries and state and federal agencies) by combining a breadth of consulting, engineering, and field service capabilities with a proven depth of environmental expertise. Our projects include large infrastructure development such as powerlines, pipelines, mines, wind farms, and oil and gas fields.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We are currently seeking to hire multiple Vegetation Management Technicians to assist with vegetation management in our Wyoming operations based in Rawlins, WY. We offer competitive pay (starting $20/hour depending on experience) with overtime potential and provided lodging. Positions are full time and seasonal, from April through November 2024.

Projects and duties include:

• Manage weeds using truck, ATV/UTV, or backpack mounted herbicide spray equipment.
• Safely and properly mix herbicides according to manufacturer labels.
• Assist with erosion control projects.
• Assist with other reclamation projects.
• Identify weeds and native plants (training will be provided).
• Navigate using digital maps.
• Map new and existing features using ArcGIS Collector on tablet computers.

• A commitment to High Standards in Safety.
• A Wyoming certified pesticide applicator license (preferred) or ability to obtain a license. We will provide training and certification.

• A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
• A clean driving record. No speeding tickets within the last year.
• Ability to travel regularly to project locations.
• Ability to participate in pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Be organized and detail-oriented.

WHAT YOU’LL GET This is a seasonal hourly position. Compensation is dependent on experience and skills. Fully furnished lodging will be provided and the opportunity to work in the high desert of south- central Wyoming and other locations throughout Wyoming.
