System One is currently seeking a Remote Senior Structural Engineer on a 9 month contract position located in Birmingham, AL.
Senior Structural Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Civil/Structural Engineering required with advanced degree in related field preferred. Professional Registration (PE) desired
- Position requires at least 10 years experience in Civil/Structural engineering related to the new construction and / or retrofit of power generation facilities or other similar heavy industrial facilities
- Detailed knowledge of engineering design principles, competent in structural steel and concrete design and proficiency with structural codes, standards, and industry methodologies.
- Proficiency with STADD/STRUDL, PCA Column/Mats, ANSYS, MathCAD, Excel and AutoCAD
Duration: 9 months
