System One is currently seeking a Mechanical Coordinator on a 12 month contract position located in Smyrna, GA.
Mechanical Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications, Company SOE’s
- Interact daily with the stakeholders to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
- Field support for the project manager; ensuring that all work is being done correctly, efficiently, and within constraints of the schedule
- Prepare progress reports and issue reports for the Project Manager
- Supervise the activities of contractors and oversee day-to-day field activities
- Experience working in an industrial environment
- Experience with reading and comprehending P&ID’s, Isometrics, Electrical drawings, logic diagrams, etc.
- Ability to comprehend technical engineering documents and specifications
- Time management and organization skills
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Strong communication skills
- Strong technical expertise and problem-solving abilities
Duration: 12 months
Location: Smyrna, GA
Pay Rate: $65-70/hr
PD: $125/day
