Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Commissioning Specialist to support the commissioning process of mechanical systems within our combined cycle power plant. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of mechanical equipment, including gas turbines, steam turbines, heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), condensers, pumps, and related auxiliary systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful startup and operation of a cutting-edge power generation facility.

Responsibilities:

1. Commissioning Planning: Develop detailed commissioning plans and procedures for mechanical systems in collaboration with engineering, construction, and operations teams. Ensure alignment with project schedules and objectives.

2. System Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing and performance evaluations of mechanical equipment and systems to verify functionality, efficiency, and compliance with design specifications and performance guarantees.

3. Startup Support: Provide technical expertise and support during the startup phase, including troubleshooting mechanical issues, coordinating with vendors, and optimizing system performance.

4. Documentation: Prepare detailed commissioning reports, test records, and equipment documentation to document commissioning activities, test results, and as-built conditions. Maintain accurate records throughout the commissioning process.

5. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure that all mechanical systems meet or exceed industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.

6. Training: Provide training and guidance to operations and maintenance personnel on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems post-commissioning.

7. Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote adherence to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in commissioning activities.

8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost savings throughout the commissioning process. Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance future commissioning activities.
