System One is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Columbus, OH
Responsibilities:
- Maintains and updates customer files, including billing contact information
- Works closely with the collections team to identify and clear past due accounts
- Creates reports regarding status of customer accounts as requested
- Assists in reconciling general ledger and customer accounts monthly
- Investigates and resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions in a timely manner
- Identifies problems and inconsistencies within the accounts receivable process and recommends appropriate corrective procedures
- Monitors credits on accounts and posts them in a timely fashion
- Supports with other related duties as needed
- Minimum of 2 years of recent and relevant Accounts Receivable experience
- Minimum of an Associates degree preferred, but will accept experience in place of a degree
- Experience with SAP or similar system strongly preferred, along with cash application experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and possess strong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile data and analyze variances
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be comfortable interacting with various levels of management in a professional manner
