JOB SUMMARY

SDI is seeking a Project Leader (Task Order Leader) to support the Prototype Integration Facility at Redstone Arsenal. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supporting unique Aviation requirements

- Provide technical expertise to the design, fabrication, analysis, integration and air worthiness substantiation of numerous modifications 

- Support customer’s specific mission IAW the military and/or civilian air worthiness standards. 

- Provide technical expertise to the airworthiness qualification/release programs standard configurations 

- Alterations/modification to standard configurations.

- Efforts may also include analysis, review, evaluation, recommendations, and preparation of documentation to support an air worthiness release (AWR) per guidance from the Aviation Engineering 

- Provide system engineering support to risk management and mitigation activity to include defining the risk management plan, implementing appropriate tools, 

- Analyze design options for producibility and perform life cycle producibility and system engineering analysis to ensure material production readiness and the necessary planning, 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

- Must have a minimum of 12 years’ experience in directing large analysis efforts in defense acquisition and sustainment programs

- Must have completed a full four-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelors or higher degree in acquisition, logistics, business, management, engineering, science or the appropriate field of expertise relative to the task as stated in the task order.

[An advanced degree combined with the task order related experience may be used in lieu of the above stated degree curriculum requirements.]

12 years experience with BS/BA

10 years experience with MS 

8 years experience with PHD
