The role is located with the innovation group of a large infrastructure security company and you will be working on the creation of a new universal control plane for our next generation device management platform.
Top technical skills/requirements this person should have:
 

1. Experience with developing containerized micro services architecture for web architecture (main skill)
2. Excellent design and coding skills with a focus on Node.js, Kubernetes and/or Prometheus and knowledgeable in voice integration (ex. Google Voice, Apple Siri, and/or Amazon Alexa).
3. Deep understanding and experience of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
4. Working experience and familiarity with Mobile Device Management platforms. (nice to have)

 
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a team player with strong design and software engineering skills. You should have working experience on a software engineering team who have designed, built and delivered highly scalable, performant and secure platforms. You should also be familiar with using software development best practices to facilitate the delivery of high quality platforms and solutions.
 
Responsibilities
 
Collaborate with the team on the design and development of our next-generation device management platform based on a serverless architecture.
Delivery of high quality code with a focus on, platform scale, performance, and security.
Suggest and implement software development best practices including automation methods to test the device management platform end to end.
Focused and timely execution against the platform roadmap.
 
Position Requirements
5 years software development experience working on products from conception to deployment.
Working experience and familiarity with Mobile Device Management platforms.
Deep understanding and experience of serverless frameworks (ex. OpenFaaS and/or Dispatch).
Excellent design and coding skills with a focus on Node.js, Kubernetes and/or Prometheus.
Experience building REST API’s and using authentication protocols (ex. OAUTH).
Strong knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
Knowledgeable in voice integration (ex. Google Voice, Apple Siri, and/or Amazon Alexa).
Must be a strong team player with excellent verbal and written skills.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent highly desirable.
