Syracuse Hearing Solutions is Hiring a Patient Care Coordinator/Receptionist Near Camillus, NY

Need a friendly, efficient candidate who is good at multitasking in a small but very busy Audiology private practice in Camillus, NY. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and medical practice management software is a plus.

  • Data entry and appointment scheduling using company scheduling protocols and internal scheduling database software
  • Sales creation
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Creates opportunities for Audiologist
  • Order and maintain appropriate/approved office supplies
  • Manage petty cash account, credit and financing transactions, collecting payments
  • Patient check in and check out
  • Oversees flow of medical devices, from shipping, to delivery to repairs and tracking to make sure patients have appropriate devices and supplies necessary for appointments and quick and accurate turn around service
  • Minor hearing aid repair as requested
  • Exceptional organization and multitasking skills required
  • Excellent customer service and provides compassionate patient care
  • Package and ship supplies, ear molds to clinics & main office
  • Greet all patients and obtain potential referrals. Understand current marketing promotions
  • Work directly with insurance companies to determine patient specific coverage and understand current HIPAA laws, processing claims
  • Works closely with other staff and audiolgists to coolaborate and facilitate teamwork
  • Must be willing to train
  • Conduct credit application calls with vendors as needed

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous front office, preferably in a medical setting
  • Proactive customer service skills
  • Exceptional professionalism, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding planning and organizational skills
  • Superior multi-tasking; time management discipline
  • Superior attention to details
  • Ability to work independently
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Office, social media, familiarity with EMR systems
