Description

Provide school-based therapy at local partnering schools to students with a variety of debilitating conditions including but not limited to orthopedic, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions. Provide school-based therapeutic services to improve a student's function, alleviate pain, and help students cope with temporary and permanent physical disabilities.

This is a non-benefited part time position working approximately 4-8 hours per week, primarily at the partnering school. Hours vary based on student caseloads.

Qualifications

• Masters or doctoral degree from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Current Nebraska Occupational Therapy licensure
• Computer knowledge and data entry skills
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team orientation and leadership ability in collaborating with others
• Knowledge of professional telephone techniques and patient relations
• Must be able to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
