To support that challenge, Syngenta’s Sustainability and Corporate Affairs team is currently seeking a US Real Estate Compliance Manager in Greensboro, NC or RTP, NC.

Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing all activities in the US relating to property. This includes ensuring accurate tracking as well as timely filing of reports relating to property that are required at the federal and state level.
  • Network with the various functions within the US across all businesses that own or lease property to have awareness of the activities and ensure that they are properly documented and tracked.
  • Responsible for assuring robust process is put in place to ensure that all filings are accurate and timely made. The US Real Estate Compliance Manager will align with the Global Real Estate function as well as Facilities Management and our outsourced partner for real estate activities in addition to the US business teams.
  • Will work closely with Corporate Legal to ensure understanding all applicable legal requirements.
  • Ensure that all US property is accurately categorized, tracked and maintained.
  • Responsible for timely filing of federal and state reports related to real property.
  • Set up central tracking system for agreements that relate to property, such as services agreements, MTAs, etc.
  • Coordinate with global Real Estate to develop processes and templates that can be platformed outside of the US and ensure global alignment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of a 4-year degree is required for this position.

Preferred:

  • Understanding of Syngenta operations and existing Syngenta networks preferred
  • Experience using databases for tracking and reporting.
  • Proficient in Excel or other applicable project management tools.
  • Understanding of agreements such as service agreements, trialing agreements, testing agreements, etc. to ensure that appropriate templates are being used and these activities are also being accurately centrally tracked.
  • Deep understanding of the business and activities to ensure accuracy of information that is tracked and reported.
