Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of contracts, from negotiation to execution.

Requirements:

• BS/BA in a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract negotiation and administration.
• Experience with government and commercial contracts.
• Proficiency in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
• Experience with cost reimbursable, award fee, incentive fee, and firm fixed price contracts.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong knowledge of intellectual property regulations within federal contracting.
• Capable of assessing risk and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Effective negotiation skills with clear oral and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide contract negotiation and administration across all contract life cycle phases.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to establish relationships with key customers.
• Assist the Senior Manager in reviewing contracts to assess company risk and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Maintain regular work schedule as per company policy.
• Establish positive working relationships within the department, Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units, and the Company.
