- Synergy is growing and expanding our billing department and looking for exceptional candidates.
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Revenue billing specialists must process claims quickly and accurately, and ensure there are no errors or issues on the claim. They may also have to do a bit of administrative work, updating patients' medical files and ensuring that other members of the staff are aware of the changes.
- Revenue billing specialists must support patients in a compassionate, professional and patient manner.
- Mange and resolve high balance payor accounts by working aging report daily.
- Private Insurance Authorization Renewals
- Resolve Denials
- Payment Applications
- Work with insurances and patients to determine the method of payment for services provided. This includes administrative duties, such as managing financial and medical records.
- Revenue billing specialist must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to monitor, audit and bill accounts.
- Work alongside Order Intake team, managers, physicians, nurses and other healthcare workers in a supportive administrative role.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and hectic work environment.
- Meet with management to review work productivity
- Predictable and reliable attendance required.

- Full Time Position
- One or more years of billing experience. Preferably in Durable Medical Equipment, with an emphasis on Medicare.
- Experience in medical terminology, accounts receivable, insurance collections or billing.
- High school diploma or GED
- Candidates must be able to successfully pass background and drug screen investigations
- Bilingual preferred, not required
