As an Senior Art Director- Brand Marketing, you will be part of a dynamic and talented global Marketing team providing top of the line visual concepts and design, which include: visual concepts for marketing campaigns, events (think Cannes Lions), and product launches. You will bring these concepts to life through high quality creative production in different formats (anything from video to ads to email design and social). To be successful in this role you must be detail oriented and have a solid understanding of design, hierarchy, problem solving, layout and typography. You should also have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to handle the everyday ideation and production tasks of creating graphics and visuals within agreed guidelines. This role reports to the VP of Brand Marketing, and will manage a globally distributed team. This role is hybrid and can be based within commuting distance of our NYC or Chicago office. Communicate art direction goals at an executive level with both internal and external partners
Lead and mentor an internal design team of designers and video editors
Collaborate with internal and external content writers for a cohesive design & messaging brand presence
Maintain a unified artistic direction, vision, and high production standard in the creation process
Present concepts and produced work to stakeholders and cross-functional partners in an inspiring and engaging way
Manage campaign art direction end-to-end (from concept to production)
Identify emerging culture/design trends and digital innovations
Strengthen brand assets, including style and usage guides
Establish mechanisms to maintain consistent brand standards across all customer-facing touch points of marketing programs
Translate our product and services to compelling visuals
Keep the design standards of the brand at the highest possible level
We're definitely looking for you, if you have...
10 years of experience in a creative & design role with at least 3 years experience in brand design and art direction
Strong proficiency in design/presentation and tools (specifically Adobe Creative Suite and Figma)
Demonstrated business acumen and prior experience managing a team of designers
Commitment to excellence and attention to detail
Experience in the ad tech industry (a plus)
Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Effective cross-team collaboration skills and the ability to deliver with agility across multiple, complex creative projects, while meeting deadlines
Proven artistic sensibilities and can make beautiful work and guide others in doing so
The ability to push creative boundaries, keeping a high bar of quality, with exquisite taste
Strong design portfolio that demonstrates a range of design concepts and execution (please submit with your application)
A Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field
