Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible, loving, and reliable Special Needs Child CareProvider to join our team. Caregivers who will work with children with special needs to provide assistance with daily activities and interact with them in ways that encourage growth and development.

Special needs caregivers may also provide support to the families of their clients.

To assist families (Non-Medical) who are seeking relief with their child care needs. We are seeking a responsible, loving, and reliable Special Needs Child CareProvider to join our team.

As a Special Needs Childcare Provider with SYNERGY HomeCare, you will:

• Work with a special needs child as a 1:1 to ensure that they are taken care of through the day while parents are at work.
• Provide attention to children’s needs, including engaging and fun activities
• Support and champion the child ensuring that their individual needs are identified, acknowledged, and met.
• Depending on the special needs of the child, the role may require aspects of personal and intimate care (i.e. toileting and feeding)
• Nurse Delegated care may be required depending on the level of care and special needs of the child.
• Assist client with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers.
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts.
