SYNERGY HomeCare of Cheyenne is Hiring a Staffing and Training Coordinator Near Cheyenne, WY

SYNERGY HomeCare of Cheyenne, locally owned and operated for 13 years, is seeking a Staffing and Training Coordinator primarily responsible for providing staffing, onboarding, and training for all new employees. This person must be well organized, flexible, have excellent attention to detail, and can work independently.

ESSENTIAL OBJECTIVES:

  • Gain a complete understanding of the specific goals and objectives of a non-medical home care agency.
  • Cross-train on all Office Staff Positions (including administrative, client quality control, scheduling, and management).
  • Train in the caregiver position includes participating in in-office and in-field training to gain a better understanding of your responsibilities and those of the employees you will be supervising.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure that SYNERGY is consistently providing excellent services to both employees and clients.
  • Courteous and professional communication with employees, clients, and staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all data, including client, employee, and operations information.
  • Assist Office Staff in promoting SYNERGY services at local community events and facility activities.
  • Participate in internal and external professional development activities as appropriate.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute the staffing, onboarding, and training process for all new employees.
  • Maintain current job postings and follow up with all applicants.
  • Pre-screen, interview, and make a hiring decision for qualified applicants.
  • Complete onboarding documentation including required paperwork, background investigations, drug testing, etc.
  • Conduct new employee orientation including policies and procedures.
  • Provide hands-on training for new employees utilizing training videos and special training on skills and equipment.
  • Serve as employee mentor for new and current employees, including setting up shadowing shifts, reviews, complaints, incidents, benefits, time off requests, requests for additional training, etc.
  • Provide records management to be sure all employee documentation is current.
  • Assist with incoming phone calls and reception duties, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in home care, healthcare, the senior care industry, or a related field is highly preferred but not required.
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring practices, and applicable federal and state employment laws is preferred but not required.
  • Must be self-confident and enthusiastic, with strong initiative and motivation, and possess excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must exercise excellent time management skills.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Must be a team player who is proactive, flexible, results-oriented, and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be comfortable asking questions and looking for ways to improve the overall flow of this position.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, pass a criminal background check, and drug screen.

  • Salaried Position – $40,000 , Based on Experience (please provide salary requirements with resume and cover letter)
