Job Title: Mainframe Zos Administrator

Job Location: Remote

Job Duration: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer IBM z/OS systems on a daily basis.
• ·Proficient in the use of SMP/E to install and maintain mainframe system software products
• Hands-on use of the Hardware Management Console to define and modify mainframe partitions
• Monitor system metrics to recommend performance and tuning improvements
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to the project team.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of the infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to IBM z/OS systems and sub-systems
• Ensure the security and integrity of the infrastructure at all times.

  Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IBM z/OS Administrator or in a similar role, working with IBM z/OS operating system architecture, administration, and performance tuning
• Minimum of 3 years of SMP/E experience including installing and maintaining mainframe system software products.
• High School Diploma or GED

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
