Synergy Florida is looking for Security Service Technicians for residential installation throughout the Tampa area.

Minimum of one to two years’ experience with installing or servicing alarm systems.

Pay is $18-25 per hour based on your level of experience.

In a typical week, the Security Service Technician will:

• Troubleshoot and repair security, automation, networking, and more
• Install Qolsys, DSC, Clare Control, 2Gig and more
• Install smart home devices
• Program Alarm.com home automation
• Install whole house interactive and automation equipment
• Install and configure hardwired and wireless networks
• Install security camera systems
• Install access control systems
• Available for oncall rotation

Requirements - Qualified candidates MUST:

• Be able to take direction and work well with others.
• Pass a drug test and a background check
• Have a valid Florida driver’s license
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Be available to work a full-time schedule

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to frequently bend, climb, crawl, lift, twist, and turn
• Must be able to work in difficult areas, such as attics and crawl spaces
• Must be able to work from ladders with arms extended overhead for extended periods of time
• Must be able work outside when necessary
