Synergy Companies is looking for a new Home Assessor to join our Visalia team. Being a part of the Synergy Companies team allows you to help people in need in your community. You'll have the daily opportunity to help change someone's life by making their homes more comfortable, safer, and more energy efficient.

Job duties:

  • Conduct a physical site survey using a variety of company provided tools and equipment 
  • Fill out site surveying sheets needed by the engineering department to produce permit-ready documents, uploading data to the project management system
  • Effectively manage your schedule to complete time-sensitive tasks on a daily basis 
  • Accessing, assessing, photographing and measuring
  • Upload data to site capture
  • Perform other tasks and duties as required
  • Proficiency in locating, evaluating, and reporting on the current conditions of major building systems and their individual components
  • May provide professional recommendation for remaining service life and recommended repair or replacement. 
  • Assessor will advise corrective action for associated deficient action for associated deficient conditions in sufficient detail to support cost estimates
  • Communicates with the management team on schedule and project status, assists with development of the assessment findings report. 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Comfortable with heights / Ladders and working outside
  • Create site sketches with accurate data
  • Measure and record data
  • Able to open live electrical panels
  • Able to interact effectively with customers
  • Detail oriented
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Proficiency with computers and apple tablet 
  • Take Clean photos of jobsite
