Our client in the Coraopolis PA area is seeking a Maintenance Technician

Duties :

• Inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all mechanical equipment within the steel foundry environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair drawings related to manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Dismantle equipment for repair or transportation when necessary, and reassemble it at the appropriate time.
• Safely move equipment to designated sites for repair or maintenance to avoid contamination or workplace safety hazards.
• Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts for efficient and safe operation.
• Perform grinding, filing, and welding of machinery parts both on-site and in controlled environments.
• Replace defective parts of machines or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
• Test units to evaluate their mechanical operation and conduct necessary repairs and lubrication.
• Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
• Ensure the correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

• Strong Mechanical background
• Previous experience in Disassembly & Reassembly of Machinery
• Ability to read blueprints and instructions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Strong team player with the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Preferably, advanced technical or college training.
