Scale TechnicianOur client based in Southern, NJ with locations in the Northeast is currently looking for a Scale Technician to join their team in Reading PA.

The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and inspecting industrial scales and weighing equipment in the field.

• Actively participate in the marketing and sales efforts of the Service Department to expand service revenues.*Process and complete all company required forms.
• Represent company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.*Attend formal technical training courses, as assigned by the Service Manager.
• Must be capable of entering scale pits for providing services on various scale equipment (Truck, Rail, Floor Scales etc.

Keep abreast of new and existing weighing products and how they apply to varying configurations. *Maintain appropriate documentation and other tools necessary to perform in an efficient and professional manner.

• Can demonstrate a conceptual understanding of weighing principles and devices, knowledge of communication interfaces. Provide good mathematical skills, scale drawings and configurations.
• Demonstrate experience with scale system interfacing and scale troubleshooting to the component levelPerform other duties as assignedRequirements : *Previous experience working with industrial scales or weighing systems.
• Experience working in the field, servicing equipment in the elements - some of these systems are located in heavy industrial environments - recycling facilities and weigh stations.
• Valid Driver's License - this position will require driving a company vehicle to client sites - CDL is helpful
