Job responsibilities

• Work across functional (development/testing, deployment, systems/infrastructure) and project teams to ensure continuous operation of build and test systems
• Drive and perfect the vision of Continuous Delivery and make release experiences easy and enjoyable
• Build high-quality tools and automation for internal use to support continuous delivery and increase the velocity and productivity of engineering teams
• Develop and maintain tools and scripts to build, deploy, test, automate and streamline product delivery from engineers to customers
• Design and implement tools and scripts to allow automated configuration management
• Overall accountability for the deployment and support of one or more business intelligence platforms
• Develops and maintains cloud (Azure & AWS) and internal platform architecture in collaboration with the platform vendors, infrastructure architects, and stakeholders
• Serves as the technical lead for business intelligence platform (Azure & AWS) implementation, upgrade, migration, and decommissioning projects
• Establishes platform system administrations process and best practices and works with the support organization to ensure appropriate support is provided
• Reviews vendor feature roadmaps, track business intelligence platform release plans and features and advises management on upgrade planning and change management
• Plans and implements tools, utilities, and reports that help monitor cloud (Azure & AWS) and internal platform and continuously assess usage and issues
• Analyzes and solves platform optimization issues
• Provides expert-level support for deployed solutions, interfacing with support staff and helping them to resolve issues within defined SLAs
• Creating a prototype of a future product for evaluation
• Constantly monitoring trends in the world of automation and integrating them
• Testing at different levels & search and elimination of errors
• Incorporating the best DevOps capabilities into development

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalant in a related field.
• Experience demonstrating an increasing level of technical lead responsibility delivering and maintaining business intelligence platforms, preferably at the enterprise level.
• Must posess substantial hands-on experience deploying, maintaining, and supporting at least two distinct business intelligence platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Coding, code troubleshooting and testing skills
• Ability to analyze and adapt code
• Ability to implement a build strategy
• Deep knowledge of DevOps and its tools
• Ability to work with scenerios, cloud architectures, and concepts
• Development of the full life cycle of software or applications with automation tool
• Analysis of available technological solutions
• Solid understanding and experience of integrating security tools and practices within the DevOps process
• Good knowledge of Python, JavaScript, PowerShell or other scripting languages
• Solid knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo, etc.
• Good working knowledge of Source Code repository systems (Git, TFS)
• Hands-on experience of working with cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS
