Syneos Health Clinical is Hiring a Strategic Field Reimbursement Manager Near Riverside, CA

Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Strategic Field Reimbursement Manager will provide external and internal reimbursement and access support for client products within specified Key Accounts/IDNs. This position is a provider-facing, virtual and field-based role responsible for supporting appropriate patient access to client products. The FRM will educate providers about important product reimbursement information and processes across settings of care; review key payer policies, coverage and authorization criteria with prescribing providers and their staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) will operate as the subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting long acting injectables in key accounts. Educate accounts and their staff on matters related to reimbursement, access and coverage to facilitate appropriate patient access.

  • Analyze access/reimbursement issues and opportunities
  • Provide strategic accounts product access/reimbursement expertise
  • Provide access/reimbursement education to field teams and matrix partners
  • Coordinate on access/reimbursement issues with third parties including hubs
  • Support patient access to the products by providing subject matter expertise on reimbursement issues that may be barriers to product access

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA Degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years in field reimbursement, key account manager, payer marketing, patient support programs and reimbursement HUB programs
  • Extensive knowledge of payer and health systems
  • Knowledge of specialty pharmacy dynamics, buy and bill process and Medicare Parts A, B, C, D as well as Medicaid and Commercial Payers
  • Demonstrated ability to educate offices on access and reimbursement processes
  • Proactive implementation execution excellence focused on streamlining and simplifying processes
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $165,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
