Description:

• The Floater will be responsible to process orders, package products, and return to stock while also performing the lab technician functions.

• The Floater can function in all Lab areas (compounding, Flashpoints, Shipping, applications and automation) and shifts.

• Assist in preparing and coordinate shipping labels, packing lists, and other documents with the corresponding fragrance samples.

• Confirm that the documents, labels, and containers correspond.

• Restock supply room and raw material properly upon receipt

• Return finished oils into Kardex system, and discard depleted inventory into hazardous waste bin properly

• Assist with ordering raw materials and supplies using MRO system

• When needed support in sample lab with compounding oils and automation

• Displays and promotes positive safety behaviors at all times, uses proper personal protective equipment, appropriate safety tools, equipment and procedures that ensure self and others go home safe each day

Qualifications:

• High School or equivalency degree required

• Compounding or lab experience a plus

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Shipping experience a plus but not required

• Detail oriented, accuracy in work, able to comprehend entire operation and work flow

• Ability to handle materials/boxes/shipments up to 40 pounds

• Ability to understand the importance of safety, and to follow safety regulations, guidelines, and procedures

• The working hours for this role will be 8:30-5pm.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
