Role: QA Automation Architect

Location: Pittsburgh, PA/ Hybrid

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Architect with a strong background in Selenium and Java to lead our efforts in developing and maintaining an automated testing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will design automation frameworks, guide best practices in automation, and work closely with software development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10-12 years of extensive experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar for script development.
• Deep understanding of different automation tools (Selenium, Appium, etc.) and frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI/CD) and version control systems (GIT).
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Quality Assurance and/or Project Management.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their use in test environments.
• Understanding of performance testing and security testing automation.
