Syndeo is Hiring a Temporary Project Admin / Receptionist Near Newton, KS

Syndeo is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Project Admin / Receptionist to assist our Project Managers in coordinating and managing projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, assisting with safety-related activities, onboarding, and HR liaison functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project management with administrative tasks such as ordering and tracking of materials.
  • Provide customer service (via phone and in person) to ensure that clients are satisfied with the project management services being provided.
  • Support the coordination and management of projects by researching information, scheduling meetings, and keeping track of project progress.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as estimating admin, scheduling meetings, and completing any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with a 3rd party safety expert to perform job site inspections, track and perform safety training, perform incident investigations, and maintain PPE stock levels, including Arc Flash, LOTO, and fall protection.
  • Provide safety-related documentation as needed for bids and customers.
  • Conduct onboarding training for new employees on safety, site-specific training, and equipment training.
  • Manage HR functions such as entering new employees into the system, managing resignations and finalizing them, keeping in touch with a 3rd party HR company regularly, updating all ERP and HR information, keeping all employee files up to date, assisting in enrollment of benefits, and sending out benefit packets.
  • Assist with keeping sales leads organized, making hotel reservations, handling One Call (Dig Safe), and equipment tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and safety equipment. (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with HR functions such as onboarding and benefit enrollment. (Preferred)
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and database management

Job Type: Full-time Temporary Mon-Fri 8 am -4:30 pm
