Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
The AVP Marketing Program Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing marketing programs across the PayPal partnerships, with a focus on PayPal Credit and PayPal cobrand cards. Flawless execution, nurturing a strong and productive partnership, and leading cross-functional initiatives will be critical to achieving goals in this role. This successful candidate will plan, design, develop, and execute effective campaigns that generate portfolio growth. Key skills to support this include a strong ability to manage projects with tight timelines and expertise driving continual optimization through a test & learn environment.
The AVP Marketing Program Manager should have proficiency in email and digital marketing channels and be focused on innovation and learning in the space to provide a great customer experience. The role will flex across the marketing teams to support additional initiatives and programs as needed. This role will report to the VP Lifecycle Strategy & Management Leader.

Essential Responsibilities:
Flawless execution of campaigns across all digital and offline marketing channels; following all processes and meeting all requirements of the business
Develop, maintain, and execute the marketing calendar across the portfolios
Lead ongoing daily stand-ups, partner meetings, and planning sessions
Manage development of monthly/yearly marketing budget, including annual planning process
Manage marketing budget tracking, invoice processing & monthly reconciliation for lifecycle programs and special initiatives
Work with Analytics teams to design campaigns, track performance, and assess campaign results to optimize go-forward strategies
Understand and leverage marketing technologies that drive efficiency and performance of our programs
Manage agency and partner relationships ensuring alignment with the client brand standards and requirements
Strong communication skills, including effectively presenting ideas to the partner and across our organization
Partner with the client and marketing team on growth campaigns & initiatives across the entire customer lifecycle to meet or exceed portfolio goals
Flex to support cross portfolio marketing initiatives that impact our products
Develop product lifecycle strategies and partner with cross functional teams to deliver on initiatives to influence and change cardholder behavior
Work with internal, client and external resources to manage development of digital assets, research plans, product prototypes, and marketing collateral
Willingness and flexibility to change direction when needed
Build and maintain a strong, trusting, and productive partnership with the client
Participate in cross-functional product, channel and customer experience IT builds to support various growth initiatives
Ensure compliance with all internal & external legal and regulatory requirements
Monitor industry trends to influence product enhancements and customer experience outcomes
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Ability to identify, prioritize, and gain alignment to execute key initiatives
Effective internal partnership across functions at all levels of the organization
Monitor and accurately forecast program performance. Understand actual performance against forecast to improve go-forward strategies.
Partner with the Synchrony COE Marketing, Product and Digital teams to gain learnings that influence growth strategies
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 9 years of marketing experience in the credit card or financial services industries
5 years of marketing and/or retail client portfolio experience that includes:
Willingness to travel 25%

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
