Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose:

As the AVP Ad Tech Product Manager, you will join our Technology Team in enhancing and maintaining the world-class infrastructure necessary to grow our business and keep us at the forefront of technology. You will oversee the development and strategy behind Synchrony’s ad-serving platforms and inventory management technology. Your work will play an essential role in integrating solutions like Kevel and DV360 to build a cohesive system that increases our media supply. We will rely on you to define and track KPIs, ensuring our strategies surpass industry standards. Your ability to drive product development and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders will be crucial as we improve our marketplace presence and expand our power to provide for consumers.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead product development and marketplace strategy while also maintaining backlog and documentation accuracy.
  • Join Scrum meetings and product sprints to communicate strategy, plans, and progress; ensuring feature alignment based on stakeholder needs and data insights.
  • Nurture relationships by supporting client needs and serving as the primary contact for the Ad Server platform.
  • Stay informed on marketplace policies, regulations, best practices, and trends to identify new opportunities. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 7 years in Ad Operations along with Product Owner/Manager experience
  • 3 years in Ad Operations
  • 3 Ad Serving such as Google Campaign Manager or Kevel and proficiency in the use of analytic tools like Adobe or Google Analytics
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Manager
  • Technical background with a deep understanding of software development and web technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of product development with direct experience managing the product life cycle and marketplace strategy.
  • Experience in project management with a record of successful completions.

Desired Characteristics:

  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies, with relevant certifications
  • Experience in the financial sector - within a retail media network
  • Firsthand experience working with Kevel
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with proven track record of analyzing and ensuring information accuracy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills suited for internal meetings and presentations.
  • Possess adaptable, creative, and resourceful traits that thrive in a fast-paced environment that holds competing priorities

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 – 155,000.00 USD Annual. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in the position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
