Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Logistics Analystto provide logistics management support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC! We are seeking a candidate to join our team and help provide the US Navy with cutting edge undersea warfare technology programs. You will provide direct support to the Team Submarine’s Undersea Weapons Program Office (PMS 404).Responsibilities:
Assist PMS 404 in the Independent Logistics Assessments (ILA) process and other mandated processes required to meet Initial Operating Capability (IOC) and Full Operating Capability (FOC); provide feedback on all assessment findings.
Review and provide feedback on all acquisition statutory and regulatory documentation required to meet acquisition milestones.
Coordinate with Intermediate Maintenance Activities (IMA) on undersea weapons systems upkeep, forecasting, and maintenance practices and procedures.
Update and maintain the Resource Management Plan (RMP) in coordination with PMS 404L and Warfare Centers.
Provide feedback to PMS 404 on ad-hoc Fleet concerns or issues that may impact fleet readiness.
Oversee planning and execution of Operations and Maintenance, Navy (OMN) and Weapons Procurement, Navy Torpedo Support Equipment (WPN TSE) appropriations.
Support and assist in the resolution of numerous ad-hoc budget and management issue from PMS 404.
Coordinate with In-Service Branch Head and field activities to establish funding priorities
Provide draft input for Congressional budget exhibits.
Support the formulation and review of budget estimates and requirements for new and existing initiatives.
Input direct cite and reimbursable Purchase Requests (PR) into N-ERP, including upload of Document Management System( DMS ) attachment(s), and submit to workflow.
Maintain the branch’s N-ERP tracker, which tracks PRs in process and approval/rejection by the NAVSEA comptroller and acceptance/rejection by the field activity.
Monitor PRs for MISIL/N-ERP rejection and work with program office personnel to quickly resolve and return PR to workflow.
Education and Experience:
15 years professional experience in Integrated Logistics Support.
5 years’ professional experience with logistics analysis.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with the PPBE process.
Active Secret DoD Clearance.
Desired Education and Experience:
Financial and/or Navy-ERP experience
Ability to multi-task, as well as working with tight deadlines.
10 or more years of experience with Navy Acquisition and/or In-Service Logistics Programs.
Demonstrated experience in ILS Management, Supply Support, Technical Design Interface, Training, Facilities, Computer Resources, Support and Test Equipment, Technical data and manpower and personnel along with the development of logistics support plans and methodologies.
Knowledgeable of production contracts, and Navy production management.
Work Location: Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard.
