- Always exhibit superior customer service traits: Accommodate client requests, facilitate servicing needs & exceed expectations across all brokering-related
- Communicate with carriers/underwriting/producers and brokers regarding renewals, audits, carrier recommendations, and quote negotiation on existing and new business
- Perform thorough analysis of policy renewals to identify coverage gaps and account opportunities.
- Coordinate marketing of accounts: Gather and compile exposure information from the client and carriers.
- Track emerging exposures within the marketplace as well as general carrier coverage changes from year to year.
- Process endorsements and review certificate needs to ensure the proper coverage is in
- Ability to strategically operate when placing new business and renewals.
- Develop proficiency in real time technology, quoting in multiple carrier websites during the remarketing process or when adding additional lines of
- Actively follow the agency workflow in the client management
- Visit clients in conjunction with other members of the client’s account team, as needed to maintain knowledge of the client's operations, and establish a working relationship.
- Ability to develop and sustain relationships with brokers and underwriters.
- Work independently recognizing and utilizing available resources and technology.
- Assist the accounting team in collecting premium and commissions from agents, as needed.
