Our client is looking for a VP of Construction to lead the North Texas, Central Texas, and Houston market.

Description

The Vice President of Construction will be responsible for leading firms proposed growth plans. Alongside you will also be responsible for;

• Manage construction and construction personnel in multiple communities
• Achieve goals and enforce controls for cycle time, quality and costs
• Ensure critical participation with tactics to drive cost and product performance goals
• Understand and apply disciplined root cause analysis and conduct real time construction reviews focused on key performance metrics
• Strong background in all aspects of construction and management
• Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills

Profile

VP of Construction must have a proven track record of managing a construction team with residential construction. The successful VP of Construction must also have the following;

• Bachelor's degree; experience in lieu of degree may be accepted
• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience
• Track record of process improvement
• Houston based construction market experience
• Experience of Ground Up Production and / Or Town Home construction projects

Job Offer

What will be on offer:

• Base Salary of $130,000 - $140,000
• 401k
• Health care and a lucrative Commission and Bonus package based on home closings, % of sale price and Customer Service Metrics.
