SBI has a job opening for an Electrical Engineer - Entry Level. This individual would be responsible for providing electrical engineering support to internal and external customers. Collaborate and grow with us while helping others live a better life. Competitive pay and benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and test protypes to validate performance versus requirements
  • Knowledge of circuit board layout and ability to perform the following:
    • Circuit board assembly
    • Reflow soldering
    • Hand soldering
    • Troubleshooting
    • Device assembly
  • Generate electrical assembly documentation (BOMs, Gerbers, schematics, etc.)
  • Write test procedures, test reports, and validation reports
  • Collaborate and openly communicate with team members in all departments
  • Provide technical assistance to manufacturing
  • Evaluate field returns
  • Electro-mechanical assembly
  • Deliver clean, well-tested code and meet project deadlines.
  • Estimates, organizes, and documents tasks.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • DesElectrign experience with embedded microcontrollers with analog and digital circuit design
  • Familiarity with design simulators (i.e., SPICE) a PLUS
  • Knowledge with FDA and CE Mark medical device design regulation
  • Developing firmware and software for embedded microcontrollers a PLUS
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of quality systems:
    • ISO 13485 - Medical Devices - Quality Management Systems

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • 3 years' experience preferably in a product development environment
  • Basic knowledge of mobile application software development on iOS or Android platforms.
