Symphorien-Saavedra Law is Hiring an Experienced Paralegal-Immigration Near Orlando, FL

Symphorien-Saavedra Law is a boutique firm in downtown Orlando that specializes in immigration law – it is our sole and passionate focus. We handle small cases, big cases, and in-between cases and have the flexibility to adjust our services to mee our clients’ needs. We are searching for a entry level paralegal to add to our team.

REQUIRED Experience

  • Minimum of high school degree with 1 year of experience in technology or office environment, or Bachelors degree.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Outlook and Word
  • Knowledge of Docketwise is preferred but not required
  • Works well under pressure
  • Bilingual in English, and Spanish or Portuguese

Desired Skills/Education or experience:

  • BA/BS preferred
  • Knowledge of Docketwise is preferred but not required
  • 1 year of experience in technology or office environment
  • Experience in the immigration field desired but not required

Specific duties and responsibilities

  • Preparing immigration filings
  • Managing heavy case load
  • Preparing letters
  • Answering phones, taking messages, scheduling appointments
  • Make copies, faxing, scanning documents
  • Assisting attorney
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Must be extremely detailed oriented
